The design of Aftermodern art gallery is a blend of conservation and subtle innovation with a profound dedication to urban environmentalism. Delicate sculptural steelwork and minimalist plaster walls intermingle with the salvaged remains of this small 1940’s warehouse. The areas of decay provided opportunity for design intervention and a more sculptural interpretation for a project that was assembled with extreme frugality of resources and environmental awareness.
